Your Questions, Answered.

We work with specially-abled and neurodiverse children from birth to 18 years of age. Our team supports children with a wide range of developmental, neurological, and rehabilitation needs, from early developmental delays to more complex neuromuscular conditions, through individualized, evidence-based care.
-
We provide comprehensive rehabilitative and developmental services under one roof, including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Sensory Integration, Pediatric E-Stim (FES & NMES), Connections & Attachment Therapy, and support with prosthesis, orthosis, and mobility aids. We also work with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric orthopedists, neurophysicians, developmental pediatricians, orthotists, and pediatric nutritionists, so care is coordinated rather than fragmented across specialists.
-
We place a strong emphasis on early intervention — starting support as early as possible, including prenatal and perinatal stages, leads to the best developmental outcomes. If you have any concern about your child's development, we encourage you to reach out for a screening or consultation rather than waiting for a formal diagnosis.
-
Yes. Parent and caregiver education is a core part of our approach. We help families understand their child's condition, learn how to continue therapeutic activities at home, access government schemes and disability certifications, and navigate inclusive education options. We also support maternal and family wellbeing, including guidance on healthy pregnancies and building nurturing home environments.
-
We currently operate across centres in Mumbai, namely AtharvAbility in BKC and Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital in Powai. Through our outreach and community programmes, we also extend screening, guidance, and educational support to families in semi-rural and rural areas, with the broader goal of reaching underserved communities across India.
-
A few things set us apart: we combine clinical rehabilitation with emotional, cultural, and community-based development rather than treating therapy in isolation; we integrate care starting from the prenatal and perinatal stage; and our founder, Dr. Snehal Deshpande, brings 35+ years of pediatric developmental therapy experience along with a large multidisciplinary team of 50+ therapists and consultants.
-
Yes. We run Advanced Pediatric Fellowship & Certification Programmes for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, as well as workshops for community health workers and continuing education sessions for pediatricians and developmental specialists.
-
Yes. Dr. Deshpande currently serves as a Visiting Consultant at Dr. L. H. Hiranandani Hospital, Wockhardt Hospital (Mira Road), and AtharvAbility (BKC), and holds an Honorary Board of Studies position at NMIMS School of Sciences. We're open to collaborations spanning clinical partnerships, training programs, research, and community outreach — please get in touch to discuss what a partnership could look like.
-
Beyond CSR funding, organizations can contribute through in-kind support (equipment, assistive devices), volunteering expertise for training programs, supporting our screening camps and outreach initiatives, or partnering on awareness campaigns for early identification of developmental disabilities.
-
CSR support through initiatives like Project Samarthya directly funds therapy sessions, assistive devices (orthotics, mobility aids), specialized interventions, and family training for children who otherwise couldn't access this care. For example, our partnership with Orbis Financial sponsored a year-long rehabilitation program for six children, resulting in measurable improvements in mobility, communication, and independence for all participants.
-
We track concrete, measurable outcomes — such as gains in motor development, independence in daily living activities, communication, and social participation — and share these with partners. We also report on the broader, longer-term impact of caregiver training, since families continue applying what they learn well beyond the funded program.
-
CSR partners can support in a few ways: sponsoring a defined cohort of children, funding a specific initiative, or supporting our broader screening, training, and outreach goals. We work with partners to structure the collaboration around their CSR priorities and reporting needs — feel free to reach out to discuss options.
